Student Residence

It is only an 8 minute walk from the university and 2 minutes from the town centre, which makes getting around on foot very easy.
You can choose:

• A private room OR
• A shared room (2 separate beds)

There is an en suite toilet and shower. Bed linens are provided.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are usually eaten at the self-service cafeteria at the student residence. Meal tickets are sold at the residence reception desk, and cost between 4 and 8 euros (depending on the meal).

Meals are served from  :

• Monday to Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (lunch)
• Monday to Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (dinner)

On Friday and Saturday evenings, Sundays and public holidays, the student residence kitchen is available for student use because the cafeteria is not open on those days.

There is a private car park reserved for students who are staying at the residence, which is free (although a refundable deposit is required when picking up the parking pass at the beginning of your stay.)

HOMESTAY in one of our "super" host families

You can stay (room and half-board) with a carefully- selected French family, in order to really live "à la française" during your time in Gap.
You will have breakfast and dinner in a friendly family atmosphere, and be able to try typically French dishes.
All the families sign a contract with UELAS. A copy of this contract (including the family's address) is sent to students upon registration.

Flats

For couples or families, we rent flats close to the town centre.
Please contact the Director to ask about available dates and fees.
Flats should be booked as early as possible and cost between 170 € and 250 €/week depending on the size and amenities.

Hotels

Upon request, we can send you a list of local hotels and weekly rental properties.
